Use HTML5 localStorage and/or sessionStorage for P2P architecture

HTML5 uses of localStorage and sessionStorage

Looking for new ideas around how to use localStorage and sessionStorage. This is something really unique to HTML5.

NOTE: If you have a specific implementation reduced to practice in the form of software code, you might consider GPLing it first elsewhere, and then linking to it from here.
