Muitos desenvolvedores utilizam códigos encontrados na Internet sem se preocupar com as licenças destes softwares. Este curso visa capacitar para os desenvolvedores para saber as peculiaridades de cada licença, como podem ser utilizados os softwares de uma determinada licença e quais os cuidados na hora de criar softwares utilizando softwares livres. Tudo em uma linguagem mais acessível aos não-advogados.

To patent an idea, it must be novel. If you can publish your idea into common circulation, it makes it very difficult for anyone to come along subsequently and be granted a patent on the very same idea. Thus, the concept of "defensive publishing". But is there a no-cost or low-cost method of establishing "prior art"? And what are the chances that a USPTO agent would actually find your idea in a search for prior art?
