by RacerX | September 25th, 2011After the fireworks have finished and people get in their cars to leave, there is usually a very long wait to exit the parking lot. Can be 45 minutes or more. Is there not a better way to direct traffic to get people out of the lots and onto the streets? Looking for low-to-no budget ways to help. $200 maximum expenditure.

Block off, re-route on-coming traffic from GV.

by RacerX | June 26th, 2011When a car enters the parking lot in the afternoon, the attendant who collects the money should ask if the car will need to turn right after the fireworks. The cars that need to turn right should be directed to a special section further south in the lot.

by RacerX | June 26th, 2011What if two fairgrounds people stand at a given exit and create a space ~ 3 car lengths long by 2 car lengths wide, where they can direct cars who need to turn left to pull forward, and direct cars who need to turn right to pull forward and turn right. It looks like the right turn is the easiest to make, as there is usually very little traffic coming from the left as you exit.
Cost? Perhaps: (1 hour of labor) x (the number of people) x (the going hourly rate)
